Welcome to Gift of Ceed! These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Gift of Ceed website, mobile applications, and retail services (collectively, the "Store"). By browsing our website, creating an account, or purchasing our curated gifts, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Gift of Ceed, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to comply with these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please refrain from using our Store.

2. User Accounts and Eligibility

Age Requirement: You must be at least 18 years of age, or accessing the Store under the supervision of a parent or legal guardian, to make a purchase.
Account Responsibility: If you create an account, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities associated with your account.
Accurate Information: You agree to provide current, complete, and accurate billing, shipping, and recipient information for all purchases. Providing incorrect delivery details for gift recipients may result in delays or failed deliveries, for which Gift of Ceed cannot be held liable.

3. Product Information and Curated Gifts

Accuracy of Display: We strive to display the colors, features, and details of our curated gifts and hampers as accurately as possible. However, we cannot guarantee that your device’s display will perfectly reflect the actual product.
Substitutions: Because we curate specialized gift baskets and source unique items, certain products (like specific gourmet treats or seasonal packaging) may occasionally be unavailable. In such cases, Gift of Ceed reserves the right to substitute an item of equal or greater value and quality to ensure your gift is delivered on time.
Personalized Items: Customers are solely responsible for ensuring the spelling, dates, and details provided for custom or engraved gifts are 100% correct prior to completing the order.

4. Pricing and Payment

Currency: All prices are listed in South African Rand (ZAR) and are inclusive of Value Added Tax (VAT) unless otherwise specified.
Price Changes: We reserve the right to modify our pricing at any time without prior notice. However, changes will not affect orders that have already been confirmed.

5. Shipping and Delivery (Gifting Specifics)

Delivery Timeframes: We aim to meet all estimated delivery dates provided at checkout. However, third-party courier delays are out of our control, and we are not liable for late deliveries resulting from logistical issues or incorrect address details.
Risk of Loss: The risk of loss and title for items purchased from Gift of Ceed pass to you upon our delivery of the items to the carrier.

You agree not to use the Store for any unlawful purpose or in any way that could damage, disable, or impair our services. This includes transmitting viruses, attempting unauthorized access, or using automated scripts to scrape our website data.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Gift of Ceed, its owners, employees, and suppliers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Store, inability to use the Store, or the purchase of any gifts.
